In 2019, the amount of people that arrive to Uruguay seeking refuge increased 65%.

A large portion of the population sees this as a problem, therefore, we decided to redirect the conversation by generating content with their stories.


We created a microsite where people could sign up to welcome them and learn about online activities and actions carried out to welcome immigrants and refugees that arrive to Uruguay.


The tone of the conversation slowly began to shift, and Uruguayans stopped talking about immigrants and instead, began to talk about people.
